Springsteen's 1990 Solo "Christic Shows" get official release

The boss, in November 1990, played two concerts at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium: two beautiful solo acoustic performances in support of the Christic Institute. These recordings have now received official release courtesy of Live.BruceSpringsteen.Net.

The recordings have been called "The Christic Shows, November 16 & 17, 1990" and they are available to download, with audio quality ranging from MP3 to 24 Bit Hi-Resolution and Audiophile DSD versions. A three-CD set is also available to purchase through Springsteen's archival site.

Both nights found Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt joining Springsteen on the encore, a performance of Bob Dylan's "Highway 61 Revisited" and Ry Cooder's "Across the Borderline".

In addition to "The Christic Shows, November 16 & 17, 1990", Live.BruceSpringsteen.Net will begin offering every concert from the E Street Band's current European leg of their River Tour every Wednesday starting June 15th. Those concerts will also broadcast each Wednesday on SiriusXM's E Street Radio.
