Andy Goddard to direct Rolling Stones biopic on "Exile on Main Street"

Andy Goddard will direct a new Rolling Stones biopic called "Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell With the Rolling Stones", centered around the making of the iconic 1972 album. The film, indeed, is based on Robert Greenfield's 2008 book telling all about the band's recording sessions for of "Exile On Main Street" at Nellcôte, a villa in southern France. Richard Branson's Virgin Produced purchased the rights for the book in 2012.

According to "Deadline Hollywood" reports, Virgin Produced, City Entertainment, KippSter Entertainment and The Gotham Group have all united to adapt the book to the big screen. The script has been written by Brandon and Philip Murphy and the film is currently looking to cast actors in the roles of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
