Noel Gallagher announces last show of 2016, then it's studio time

Ex Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher announced his last gig for 2016. The artist, with his band High Flying Birds, will close his 2016 touring schedule with a gig at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on September 6.

A press release confirms that the show will be Gallagher's last of 121 shows and festivals in 27 countries supporting 2015's "Chasing Yesterday" album.

After the end of the tour, Gallagher is expected to go into a recording studio tu finish his next album: the guitarist, indeed, recently told "NME" that he was "halfway" into work on the record and hoped to release it next year. He is recording with the help of producer and electronic musician David Holmes who also said that "people are going to be surprised" by the "fun" feel of the record.
