Apple is making its move to buy TIDAL

Apple, according to the "Wall Street Journal", Jay Z is in talk with Apple which is interested in buying his Tidal streaming platform (note: he previosuly tried to sell to Samsung and Rhapsody).

"Wall Street Journal" writes:

The talks are ongoing and may not result in a deal

Apple for sure sees TIDAL as an opportunity to bolster its own streaming platform, Apple Music - but undoubtedly concerns that the company is monopolizing the market are raising. For instance, Senator Elizabeth Warren already suggested Apple is trying to “lock out” the competition through practices such as rejecting Spotify’s app from the iTunes store over billing issues.
