Jack White announces acoustic compilation and shares White Stripes unreleased song - LISTEN, TRACKLIST, COVER ART

Ex White Stripes main man Jack White announced the upcoming release of a career-spanning album called "Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016", due out on September 9 (on double CD, double LP, and digitally via Third Man/Columbia).

The release will be a 26-track casreer-spanning compilation featuring album tracks, B-sides and alternate takes of songs by the White Stripes and the Raconteurs, as well as selections from White’s solo catalog. "Acoustic Recordings" also includes the unreleased White Stripes song “City Lights”, which can bre streamed below:

If you pre-order the album, you receive “City Lights” as a download. The song was originally written for "Get Behind Me Satan", but wasn't finished until this year. According to a press release:

The track is the first new, worldwide commercially released White Stripes song since 2008.
