Queen share fast version of "We Will Rock You" from 1977 BBC session - LISTEN

Legendary British band Queen shared an official lyric video for a fast studio version - never released before - of their anthem "We Will Rock You". The track was recorded as a demo during a session in the BBC studion in 1977 - and it will be, obvioualy, featured in the band's upcoming double CD "Queen on Air". The two-disc compilation gathers 24 songs culled from Queen's BBC sessions and is due out on November 4.

Freddie Mercury and his bandmates recorded this up-tempo version of the track for the BBC on the same day their "News of the World" album (containing "We Will Rock You") was released in the U.K.

The "fast version" of "We Will Rock You" was a live staple for the band, but this performance marks the only time the band played this rendition in the studio.
