The Lovie Awards gather top internet talent: Yann LeCun, Fairphone, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Patricia Bright

The Lovie Awards, the most prestigious, and only truly pan-European honour for online excellence, saw London play host to Europe’s brightest creative talent last night at The 6th Annual Lovie Awards show at The British Film Institute on Southbank, London. The show was hosted by BBC comedian Mark Watson.

Winners included VICE Media, Sony Music UK, DigitasLBi, MediaMonks, Deezer, Soundcloud, Vogue Italia, El País and Expressen, in addition to Lovie Special Achievement winners like Lovie Person of the Year Annie Lennox, whose award was presented and accepted by Gwendoline Christie of HBO’s Game of Thrones, Lovie Emerging Entrepreneurs Fairphone, presented by 2015 Lovie winner Lily Cole, Lovie Lifetime Achievement Award honouree Yann LeCun, presented by BBC's Technology Correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones, Lovie Artist of the Year Romain Gavras, Lovie Internet Video Person of the Year Patricia Bright, Be Greater with Data Award winner Süddeutsche Zeitung and Lovie Agency of the Year Cheil Germany.
