Prince documentary in the works, featuring Mick Jagger and Bono

According to "Screen Daily", a new documentary focused on Prince - probably called "Prince: R U Listening?" - is in the works and should be out in 2017.

The project will reportedly highlight The Purple One’s early years and rise to fame in the ’70s and ’80s. Much of the musician’s legendary story will be relayed through his close family, friends and bandmates, including Dez Dickerson, Prince’s first guitar player and Andre Cymone. Colleagues like Mick Jagger, Bono, Billy Idol, and Lenny Kravitz are also expected to appear in the film, as are Prince’s protege/former fiancée Sheila E. and past band members Dez Dickerson and André Cymone.

The project will be directed and produced by acclaimed US doc producer Michael John Kirk, known for his work on PBS documentary series "Frontline".
