Soundcloud co-founder Eric Wahlforss switches job and becomes Chief Product Officer

Yahoo! exec Artem Fishman is now Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering at SoundCloud: co-founder Eric Wahlforss takes on the newly-created role of Chief Product Officer, leading strategy around product initiatives that will launch later this year.

From SoundCloud’s Berlin HQ, Wahlforss will still oversee the engineering and design teams, in addition to taking on oversight of data and insights.

Prior to joining SoundCloud, Fishman was Vice President of Engineering at Yahoo. He will now be responsible for leading SoundCloud’s global engineering organisation, in addition to creating and shaping its technical vision and strategy. Before Yahoo, Fishman (pictured) worked at digital agency HUGE (part of Interpublic Group), Thomson Reuters and New York Times.
