Rockol Awards 2016: Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Jovanotti, Pooh... the winners list

On Thursday, January 12, the Rockol Awards 2016 ceremony took place at the Fabrique, in Milan. During the event, Rockol awarded the best artists of 2016 (both Italian and international) chosen by a jury of 300 journalists/music professionals and by the website's users.

The big winner was The Boss - Bruce Springsteen - who won two awards as "best international live act" (vored by the jury and Rockol users) and the special award "BigliettOne D'Oro Internazionale" from TicketOne (for the international act who sold more tickets in 2016).

Italian pop masters Pooh won the "BigliettOne D'Oro Italiano" (being the Italian act which sold more tickets during the year).

David Bowie, with his "Blackstar" album was voted both by the jury and by Rockol users, winning in the category for "Best international album".

Italian pop band Negramaro was voted by the public and won in the "Best Italian tour" category, while the jury gave the award to Jovanotti, for his "Lorenzo tour".

Marco Mengoni's album "Le cose che non ho" was voted by the users as the winner in the "Best Italian album" category, while the jury awarded Niccolò Fabi for his "Una somma di piccole cose" release.

Thegiornalisti, who performed live during the evening, won thr "Best new artist" special award.
