Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr back together in the studio

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr back together in the studio

Ex-Beatle Ringo Starr posted a picture taken in the studio with his former bandmate Paul McCartney. The two were recording together for Ringo’s upcoming solo album.

Ringo commented:

Thanks for coming over man and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love.

Paul and Ringo last collaborated in the studio on Starr’s 2010 solo album "Y Not", which featured McCartney on bass, on two songs. They have performed live together a few times in recent years, including doing McCartney’s “Queenie Eye” at the 2014 Grammys.

Ringo’s new album is expected later this year, and it'll feature some excellent guests: Peter Frampton, The Eagles’ Joe Walsh, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Benmont Tench have also been photographed in the studio with Starr.
