The 1975 announce new album "Music for Cars"

British indie rockers The 1975 just announced the upcoming release of their follow-up to 2016's "I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It".

According to Singer Matt Healy (who spoke during an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio), the new album is called "Music for Cars" and it's the third LP in the band's planned trilogy. He also explained:

"Music for Cars" has always been called that, and we were always gonna do a trilogy of records. And I'm not saying that after this album it's the end of the 1975, but it's definitely the end of an era.

Though Healy did not reveal an exact release date during his Beats 1 interview, he said "Music for Cars" would come out in 2018.
