Laura Pausini has renewed her worldwide deal with Warner Music Italy

Laura Pausini, the biggest female Italian pop music artist, has renewed her worldwide deal with Warner Music Italy.

The artist commented:

Signed to Warner Music, Pausini is the greatest Italian international female artist ever.  She first eneterd the spotlight in 1993, when she won a competition for new artists at the Sanremo Festival with her debut single "La Solitudine".  Her eponymous debut album was released later in 1993 and became a Top 10 hit in Italy, while selling more than two million copies worldwide.

Pausini, who is also a songwriter, has released 12 studio albums to date, two greatest hits and three live albums, performing songs in Italian, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Her most recent album was released worldwide in English as "Laura Xmas" and in Spanish as "Laura Navidad".  The album shot to the top of different international charts and was certified Double Platinum in Italy.

Laura Pausini has sung and collaborated with top Italian and international artists.  Some of the most prominent include Marc Anthony, Charles Aznavour, James Blunt, Andrea Bocelli, Miguel Bosé, Michael Bublé, Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Gloria Estefan, Luis Fonsi, Josh Groban, Johnny Hallyday, Kylie Minogue and Luciano Pavarotti.

She has won more than 40 awards in Italy and worldwide, including a Grammy Award in 2006 and a nomination in 2017 for “Simili/Similares” in the category Best Latin Album, plus three awards and eight nominations at the Latin Grammys.

Pausini has also been honoured as a Commander Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and a World Ambassador of Emilia Romagna, her home region in Italy.
