Jay Z announces new album "4:44", due out this month via Tidal

Rapper Jay Z announced the release of a new album due out later this month. HOV’s 13th studio album is called "4:44" and it will be out June 30th, available exclusively through his streaming music platform, TIDAL.

"4:44" is also the name of a previously announced film produced by TIDAL and starring Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danny Glover. It’s unclear whether Jay Z will follow the lead of his wife Beyoncé in releasing a visual album, or if the film is a companion visual.

In a new trailer for the film, moreover, there's a snippet of a new song called "Adnis". Check it out below:

The movie (starring Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o and Danny Glover) is out June 30, according to the trailer, and will be available exclusively through Tidal (via a partnership with Sprint). E
