SoundLab Play Rave by Heart n Soul and music-tech companies

This summer, Heart n Soul, the award-winning creative arts charity for people with learning disabilities, marks 30 years of innovation, creativity and fun with a celebratory series of exhibitions, events and performances in venues and organisations close to its long-time home at the Albany Theatre in Deptford.

Heart n Soul's SoundLab, which aims to find simple and effective ways to help people with learning disabilities to express themselves musically and collaborate with other people using readily available musical technologies, regularly brings together technologies in its SoundLab Play Spaces to allow users new ways to make music.

At SoundLab Play Spaces, music technology companies show their range of products, giving invited artists and participants the opportunity to see what music technology is out there.

Next week’s celebratory SoundLab Play Rave is a special play space and will have a mini festival feel. Events will take place across 2 sites giving audiences the opportunity to try out a range of different music tech products and see performances on the live stage.

It’s free and will give everyone the opportunity to experience it and get involved.
