FUGA raises €6m to boost further international expansion

Music/tech firm Fuga is raising €6m from its current shareholders: this will fuel its expansion plans over the next two years.

The company explained it will use the money to expand its office in the US; to eye up potential acquisitions; and to continue developing its analytics tools for labels and managers.

Expansion around neighbouring and publishing rights is also on the company’s agenda.

CEO Pieter van Rijn said, in a statement:

I am very proud of Fuga’s trajectory, and happy that it has been recognised by our shareholders. I am confident that this significant injection of funding will mean we are able to far exceed our already ambitious plans and strengthen our position as an industry leader.
