William James Adams, Jr., aka, was born on March 15, 1975 in East Los Angeles. He is an American recording artist, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, DJ, producer and philanthropist – best known as one of the founding members of The Black Eyed Peas.
He began rapping while he was still in school, forming the collective Atban Klann which was signed to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records label in 1992. He was then performing under the name Will-1X. Shortly after Eazy-E's death, in 1995, Atban Klann left Ruthless and changed name to Black Eyed Pods, then to The Black Eyed Peas.
With this successful band he released six studio albums between 1998 and 2010; but he also pursue his own solo career, starting with his 2001 album called “Lost Change” – it is the original soundtrack to the movie of the same name.
