The National perform on Letterman

Yesterday The National have performed their new single "Conversation 16" on Late Show with David Letterman. The band's last album "High Violet" reached a huge critical success.

The National come from Cincinnati, Ohio, but they are currently settled in Brooklyn, New York. The band's lyrics are written by lead singer Matt Berninger.

The rest of the band is composed of two pairs of brothers: Aaron and Bryce Dessner and Scott and Bryan Devendorf.
