U2 deny releasing new material in 2011

U2 will not release any new record during 2011. The band's bassist Adam Clayton has confirmed that the Irish band has still to work a lot before releasing any new material. The group is currently working on many new songs with a bunch of producers, including Danger Mouse. "We had to have a meeting and look at the schedule to see if we could pick up any extra time to work on it," he told Rolling Stone. "We just realised that we couldn't. To be honest, everyone was a bit gutted. But it was the only sensible decision". More info here.
