Scott Weiland releases cover album

Solo artist and Stone Temple Pilot frontman, Scott Weiland, just released a solo album featuring cover songs only. The title simply is "A Compilation Of Scott Weiland Cover Songs" .
The record is available in digital download only and it features 12 cuts from The Smiths, The New York Dolls, The Rolling Stones and other sacred monsters of rock music.

Scott Weiland's autobiography came out last May (via the Simon & Schuster imprint Scribner). The artist wrote it with David Ritz, the writer and lyricist who has co-written autobiographies of Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Don Rickles.
