Marylin Manson's new clip: "Born Villain"

"Transformers" world famous actor Shia LaBeouf and Marilyn Manson worked together at a short movie - which became the clip of "Born Villain", Manson's first single from his upcoming album. The two met during a Kills concert and instantly liked each other, starting a genuine friendship. The singer had seen previous Shia’s work - in particular Kid Cudi’s video for "Maniac" - and asked him to direct a short film for the first single off his upcoming LP.

The director explains: “The song has all these references to ‘Macbeth’ and all this Shakespeare and heavy theology, so we tried to make Manson’s ‘Un Chien Andalou’ macabre ‘Macbeth’ - that’s sort of what that became.”

To celebrate the new video LaBeouf and Manson will be appearing together at a book signing and screening today at Hennessey + Ingalls bookstore in Los Angeles from 8 to 10 p.m.
The event is private and limited to 150 attendees (selected on a first-served basis). Those who wish to attend must purchase the limited-edition "Born Villain" photo book at the Hennessey + Ingalls website, which also comes with a copy of the short film.
