Rush close record deal with Roadrunner

Canadian rock gods Rush just sealed a fresh record deal with Roadrunner records; actually the band will release its records on Anthem Records in canada and on roadrunner in the rest of the world.

The first step to honour the deal will be the release of various live material recorded during Rush's "Time Machine" tour that started earlier this summer. At this time there are no details on the nature of these releases, but more info will come during the next weeks.

In the meantime the band is at work to record the 20th studio album (the title is "Clockwork Angels"), which still has no official release date. Geddy Lee recently declared: "We've got about seven songs written. When you hear the first two songs, which we're playing live now, they definitely have a heavier sound. It's the heavier side of Rush in the early going. But when I think of all the songs that we've written already, there's quite a lot of diversity there. I think - I hope - Rush fans will like it. We're certainly going to work hard to make it a great record, as we always try".
