The Raconteurs' recording plans are uncertain

Jack White's The Raconteurs seem to be uncertain if they will record any new material; right now they're playing their first live shows together in over two years. 

The band will perform at White's Third Man Records headquarters in Nashville today (September 14), before playing at the city's Ryman Auditorium (15) and MI Fest in Michigan (17) later in the week, with further US dates scheduled before the end of the year.

Bassist Jack Lawrence in a recent interview said that although the band is excited to be back, it's "hard to say" whether there will be work on any new material any time soon: "We're all doing other projects, still, so it's hard to tell what's going to happen. We never really plan anything; it just depends on what the mood is with all of us. But if it feels right, by the time we do these shows I'm sure we'll want to do more and we'll make some time for it".
