The Shins announce the new record

 

Portland band The Shins will release the new record "Port Of Morrow" in March 2012. The album will feature ten songs such as "The Rifle's Spiral" and "September".

The new effort, the first since 2007's "Wincing The Night Away" was produced by Greg Kurstin and recorded in Los Angeles and Portland.

There are still no official details about the first single or the precise release date. In the meanwhile, precisely in 2010, The Shins leader James Mercer has also teamed up with Danger Mouse to form the band Broken Bells.



"Port Of Morrow" will feature the following songs:

'The Rifle's Spiral'
'Simple Song'
'It's Only Life'
'No Way Down'
'September'
'Bait and Switch'
'Fall of '82'
'For A Fool'
'40 Mark Strasse'
'Port of Morrow'
