The Beach Boys reunite for new album and tour

 

A glorius band is coming back from the golden years of rock'n'roll. The Beach Boys will reunite in 2012 for a new album and a 50-date worldwide tour celebrating their 50th anniversary. The confirmation arrived directly from the band on Friday.

The genius Brian Wilson will join again Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnstonand David Marks. All of them were involved in early versions of The Beach Boys band in the 1960s.

"This anniversary is special to me because I miss the boys, and it will be a thrill for me to make a new record and be on stage with them again" Wilson stated.

The Beach Boys formed in 1961 in Hawthorne, California. Despite the deaths of Dennis and Carl Wilson in 1983 and 1998, the band have continued to tour successfully over the years.
