Paul McCartney, listen here to "My Valentine"

Paul McCartney has revealed the first single taken from his new record. The song is titled "My Valentine", features Eric Clapton and it's a melodic and classy semi-acoustic ballad.

The new and still-untitled album by McCartney will be a collection of covers with two unreleased extras written directly by Sir Paul. The ex-Beatles legend has said that the tracks chosen for the LP were "the songs which inspired the songs" he would later go on to write and also described them as "the songs me and John [Lennon] based quite a few of our things on".

The new Paul McCartney's record will follow up the 2007's "Memory Almost Full" and the 2008's "Electric Arguments", released under the moniker of The Fireman.
