Alabama Shakes prepare debut album "Boys&girls"

They're called Alabama Shakes but they come from Athens, Georgia. They're a really promising blues and soul band led by singer Brittany Howard.

They will release a debut record titled "Boys & girls" on April 9 and they're highlighted as one of the most interesting bands for 2012.

With an explosive live attitude, the group has signed to label Rough Trade and is currently streaming the song "Hold on" at this website. You can listen to the song also here, on Rockol.com.
