The Happy Mondays have reunited again

Talking about music, there's no doubt 2012 will be the "reunion year". Black Sabbath and The Stone Roses are clear examples of that. Now we have to add another name to the list. In fact, The Happy Mondays have announced their plans to reform with the band's original line-up.

The Mancunian band led by Shaun Ryder will tour the UK this summer also hitting several festivals and will also include in the formation backing vocalist and former X Factor finalist Rowetta. The group originally broke up in 1992 and has reformed twice before.

The group has released fundamental records for the Madchester scene, such as "Squirrel and the G-Man" and "Bummed". Their most recent effort "Uncle Dysfunktional" came out in 2007. Here's their most famous classic, "Step on".
