Blur recording new album, according to William Orbit

Blur are ready to record a new studio album with William Orbit. The confirmation comes directly from the English producer. Orbit on January 16 tweeted on his official Twitter account to record label World Circuit Records about their artist Fatoumata Diawara. And he surprisingly added: "I just found out that she [Diawara] has done tracks with Damon A, who I'm in the studio with from Wednesday!".

These words may hint that Orbit is only working with Damon Albarn, but there's another clue. The producer also tweeted a message to Graham Coxon, which read: "Hi Graham! Loving the guitars you laid down! Vocal session March 3!".

So, a Blur studio reunion is on the way? All the Britpop fans have to open their eyes, apparently. In the meanwhile, Blur will play at the London Brit Awards in February, where they will be also honored with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award.
