Corey Taylor joins Dave Grohl: more details

In the last months, we've already reported about the collaboration between Corey Taylor and Foo Fighters' guitarist and leader Dave Grohl. Now further details have emerged about the joint venture between these two giants of music.

Taylor and the ex Nirvana's drummer have recorded a still untitled song with producer Butch Vig. But now the Slipknot's leader has also revealed that the project is part of Grohl's documentary about Sound City Studios, the studio complex where Nirvana's "Nevermind" was recorded. To celebrate the anniversary, Grohl is getting a collection of musicians to record in the studio as part of the project.

Talking about the project with Artisan News Service, Taylor stated: "Dave is doing a documentary about the legendary board from Sound City that everybody and their mom recorded on and he's slowly but surely gotten all these people together to make music on that board again".

"I'm really ecstatic about the songs. It's a really good tune", he added.

 

However, the collaboration between Grohl and Taylor still has no official release date. So let's keep our ears open to catch new and exciting news from these two rockstars.
