Bruce Springsteen announces new saxophonist

Finally Bruce Springsteen has announced the musician that will take Clarence Clemons' place. Clarence's nephew Jake will be the saxophonist of the E-Street Band on the next world tour.

The new band line up will feature also singers Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King, trombonist Clark Gayton and trumpeter Curt Ramm and newcomer Barry Danielian on trumpet. The string section will be composed by Jake Clemons and Ed Manion.

The series of gigs will support the new effort from "The Boss", "Wrecking ball", that will hit the stores on March 5 and will feature the single "We take care of our own". "Wrecking ball" is also the title of a song Springsteen unveiled during a string of gigs in New Jersey, in 2009 (read the lyrics here). It was released, later, as a maxi single.

The record will feature other songs such as "Jack all of trades" and "Land of hopes and dreams”, a tribute-song to Clarence Clemons. Here's for you "We take care of our own", via the official Bruce Springsteen's channel on YouTube.

Bruce Springsteen will present the new formation of the E-Street Band for the first time on Monday, during the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
