Green Day already working on new album

Valentine's day has been a good day for all the Green Day's fans. In this occasion, the group's leader Billie Joe Armstrong has announced that the band is already working on her new album via his Twitter account.

Armstrong wrote on his official page: "Happy Valentine's day! Officially started recording the new record today. It's Fuck Time!!!!". So, the American trio is back to work.

According to the band's past words, the new record won't be "political" like "American idiot" and "21st Century Breakdown", but will be more "straightforward". In November, Green Day have premiered some new songs such as the strong "Carpe diem". You can listen to the new songs directly here on Rockol.com via YouTube.

The new record by Green Day should presumably hit the stores by the end of 2012 and should feature songs like "Make Out Party" "Let Yourself Go" and "Oh Love".
