Leader of U2 Bono preparing a solo show in Brasil

U2 leader Bono is preparing a rare solo show. According to Brazilian website Terra.com, quoting newspaper "O Dia", the frontman of the Irish band will hold a free concert next June on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro.

Copacabana is a district of the southern city of Rio and start on Avenida Princesa Isabel to PostoSeis and ends near the Forte de Copacabana. The show should take place on June 24, coinciding with a UN conference on environmental sustainability called "Rio +20 United Nations Conference on SustainableDevelopment". The report states that other musicians should attend the event but "almost certainly" not the other members of U2.

The meeting was decided in consultation with the general UN resolution 64/236 and for twenty years after the 1992 conference in Rio, related with development and environment.

And what about the future projects of U2? Last January, Bono talked about the material the band is working on. The Irish singer stated: "We are currently working on three albums and we have not decided in which order we'll release them".
