Music 4.5 is back: "Data is Sexy 2 - data as arms"

On Wednesday 18 April (2-6 pm) London will host the second instalment of the popular music and data seminar Music 4.5 Data is Sexy 2 - data as arms.
The seminar is organized by 2Pears, the team that specializes in events and networking for creative and startup companies in tech, music and media. 

Following on from last year, Data is Sexy 2 will take the discussions around music, data, rights management and new products and services enabled by data, to the next level, focusing on the politics, economics, cost, ownership and exploitation of data.
The core of the seminar is bringing together data experts, data handlers, artists, artist managers, music-tech startups, record labels, publishers, entertainment experts and agencies in the UK and Europe, all involved in using, monetising and managing data. 

The event will start with an introduction of thr current scenario by Jeremy Silver, chairman of MusicMetric and previously head of Featured Artists Coalition. The following panel will see Peter Jenner as moderator, with the participation of Chris Cass (Gracenote), David Courtier-Dutton (Soundout), Vanessa Bastian (Nuemeta), Amke Block (Audiomagnet) and Nic Garnett - plus speechs by David Brown (Ve Interactive), Niels Rump (on behalf of Rightscom and DDEX), Cliff Fluet (Lewis Silkin), Evan Stein (Decibel), Adrian Woodhead (Last.fm), Chris Jackson (MetaBroadcast) and Olly Mardling (Sound Index).
