John Mayer set to rule USA charts for second straight week

John Mayer may have some problems with his voice, but his music is fine. The singer had to repedeatly to cancel tours because of granulomas in his throat, and even the release of his new album, "Born and raised", has been pushed back from its original date. But now that it's out, it lays atop of american charts:  Billboard reports the record is set for the second straight number one spot on the Billboard 200. Last week, just after relese, the record sold 219.000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan, becoming the singer's third number 1 album: but both "Heavier Things" and "Battle Studies" remained at that spot for a single week.

Billboard report that the week's strongest debut sales will come from Regina Spektor's "What We Saw From the Cheap Seats" or from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros' "Here", both set to sell between 30,000 to 35,000 copies.
