Spreaker reaches 1 million registered users

Spreaker is an Italian online platform allowing users to create live podcasts, to share and distribute them, easily.

The startup - based in Bologna - has been online since 2010 and now it reached a very important objective, becoming one of the major players in the international scenario with more than one million registered users (besides more than 25,000 fans on Facebook and 500,000 subscribers to its app). Every month, Spreaker's users (mostly located in the US and Italy) produce more than 48,000 hours of recorded podcasts.

During 2013 the startup will focus on growth, working on a better and richer mobile version and on the enhancement of its web tools.

  • Rockol only uses images and photos made available for promotional purposes (“for press use”) by record companies, artist managements and p.r. agencies.
