Phoenix' 'Bankrupt!' to be released in April

Phoenix will release their new album in April 2013. The LP will be named "Bankrupt!"  - as the band stated via Facebook - and it will follow up 2009's  "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix". According to Daniel Glass, head of the group's label Glassnote, the French group have completed the recording sessions of its fifth studio alum in Paris.
The band also published on its website an image of the forthcoming album title and a soundclip.
"I think 'cause we do a lot music with drum machines and we blend a lot [of] drum machines and real drums, I think for us, it's a way to escape that." Thomas Mars explained about the new album, "You know, there's something a little frustrating when you do pop music. And drums are the DNA of our music, 'cause we'd like to go somewhere else, we'd like to change that DNA."
