James Blunt's label incidentally spams music fans in the UK

The marketing team of Warner UK decided to promote James Blunt's new single sending an email to UK fans... but things - apparently - got a little out of hand.
The email, with a link to the artist's new single, was sent to a host of people on Warner Music's database, including mailing lists for artists other than Blunt - who tweeted: "Oops... Just emailed the whole of the UK by mistake! Ha!".

Warner Music, via a spokesperson, explained that due to a "clerical error, the email was accidentally serviced to some users who had subscribed to mailing lists for other Warner Music artists".

Blunt's new single, "Bonfire Heart" is set for release on October 7.
