Watch Elvis' anniversary graveside vigil - live streaming via YouTube

The King, Elvis Presley, died at his Memphis home, Graceland, on August 16, 1977 - 36 years ago - and his body is buried on the grounds of the property.

The annual vigil to celebrate his music and life (and to commemorate his death, obviously) is being live streamed via a dedicated YouTube channel on August 15 from 8-10pm (Central Time), which is 2-4am in the early hours of August 16 when converted into British Summer Time.

An official press release states: "After an opening ceremony at the gates of Graceland, fans are invited to walk up the driveway to Elvis' gravesite and back down carrying a candle in quiet remembrance. Gates remain open until all who wish to participate in the procession have done so, which typically takes until the early morning hours of August 16".
