Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) has a new band: Birds Of Satan

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has a new project: a hard rock trio called Birds Of Satan which will soon release a self-titled album (set to be out on April 14). Hawkins drums and sings, while Wiley Hodgden provides bass and and Mick Murphy is on guitar.

The album features seven tracks in the vein of the most iconic and classic Seventies rock, with a hint of prog (the opener "The Ballad Of The Birds Of Satan") and it was recorded in less than a week - with John Lousteau producing.
On some tracks there's also a cameo by fellow Foo Fighters Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.
