Calvin Harris is the world's highest paid DJs 2013 for Forbes

Calvin Harris is at the top of Forbes’ 2013 list of the world's highest paid DJs; his earnings are estimated around £30m, in the past year.

Harris, whose career was boosted by the success of his single “We Found Love” (with Rihanna), earned the eight-figure sum by performing over 100 live shows, netting around £130,000 per performance. He is followed by Tiesto, who comes in with around £20m.

Speaking to Forbes, Harris commented: "The rise of dance music has been astronomical in the last three years. I happened to be in the right place at the right time".
