L'Wren Scott (Mick Jagger's girlfriend) found dead in apparent suicide

Mick Jagger's girlfriend, L'Wren Scott  (real name Luann Bambrough), was found dead in an apparent suicide in her Manhattan apartment, in the morning of March 17.
According to the first reports, the woman (who was 49) was found "hanging from a scarf on a doorknob by her assistant" at around 10am.

No suicide note was found on the scene, but police do not suspect foul play. The Medical Examiner’s Office are yet to determine a cause of death.

A spokesman for Mick Jagger said he is "completely shocked and devastated". Scott, who was a fashion designer, and Jagger have dated since 2001; she designed the Rolling Stones frontman's costumes for the legendary band's 50th anniversary tour.

The woman had no apparent reason for taking her life, but while she appeared to be a successful stylist, her company (LS Fashion Limited) was $2.1 million in the red in 2009. By 2010, the company was $3.06 million in debt — and by 2012, it was $5.89 million in the hole, records show.
Scott tried to stop the bleeding in the last year, firing the company’s director and then replacing him, months later, with her big brother, Randall Bambrough. It’s unclear if he was able to turn the tide at all — he’s only been on the job for three months, records show.
