Stream The Flaming Lips' 'Flaming Side of the Moon' album

...and they did it for real! Despite the fear of an April Fool's joke, The Flaming Lips actually recorded their companion album to Pink Floyd’s "Dark Side Of the Moon": it's called "Flaming Side Of the Moon", it will be officially released (in digital only format) on Record Store Day, but it can already be streamed online (below).

This album is intended to be played at the same time as Pink Floyd's original. A press release also notes that it's been "carefully crafted to sync up perfectly with the 1939 film, 'The Wizard of Oz'". And "for ideal listening conditions, fans are encouraged to seek out the original Alan Parsons' engineered quadraphonic LP mix of Dark Side, but it will work with the album on any format".
