Jimi Hendrix: two out-of-print albums to be re-released
The two albums called "The Cry Of Love" and "Rainbow Bridge" by legendary guitar player Jimi Hendrix are set to be re-released.
The street date for the releases is set on September 15; they will be available on cd, vinyl and digital formats.

These were Hendrix's first and second posthumous releases, originally released in 1971 after the death of the guitarist in 1970, at the age of 27. The songs featured in "The Cry Of Love" were recorded from December 1969 into the summer of 1970 at Electric Lady Studios in New York.
