Axl Rose is not dead: it's just another Internet hoax

The rumour of Axl Rose being dead began to spread online, in the afternoon of December 3. It all started when MSNBC broke the news that Rose had been found dead in his West Hollywood home on Tuesday afternoon. Well, it's obviously just another hoax - even if thousands of people shared the news on social networks.

Moreover, MSNBC has no fault, since the article which bounced around the web is a fake, appearing on a website fabricated to look like the real MSNBC... too bad it's not the real thing! And the same web site pulled a similar trick, in November, with a death hoax about actor Macaulay Culkin.

Rose answered with irony, learning the news of his own death, and tweeted:
