Live-music industry fest ILMC lights up with sold-out events

ILMC, the London-based event dedicated to the international live music industry and featuring Live Nation’s Arthur Fogel (chairman of global music and president of global touring) as the keynoter, has sold out, the organisers say.

The 27th edition will see more than 1,000 live-music professionals from 60 countries gather at London’s Royal Garden Hotel next week from 5 to 8 March.

Also sold-out is the ILMC Night on the Tiles gala dinner and its Arthur Awards show at The Savoy Hotel on Saturday 7 March. The awards, the live-music industry’s equivalent of the Oscars, highlights categories such as top promoter, agent, festival, venue, ticketing company, production supplier and young executive.

This year’s ILMC features a number of changes to previous regular features, including a revised conference schedule, a new workshop programme that includes educational sessions run by Facebook and YouTube, plus increased meeting space and additional networking opportunities.

“With all the ILMC superheroes now assembled, it looks set to be a mighty edition of ILMC,” says managing director Greg Parmley. “It’s truly fantastic that we’ve once again sold out in advance.”
