Adam Lambert unveils the artwork of his new album 'The Original High'

Adam Lambert just unveiled the artwork for his upcoming new album (the third in his career) called "The Original High". The ex "American Idol" contestant will release the full album during late spring/summer, but the lead single "Ghost Town" is set to go to radio on April 21.

The follow-up to 2012's "Trespassing" is the result of the collaboration between Lambert and Swedish hitmakers Max Martin and Shellback and the tracks will lean more heavily on the pop side.

About this new material, Lambert told "Billboard" earlier this year:

I wanted something more internal and more grounded. A little less with the theatrical and the camp and the presentation. I wanted to bring it in a bit more. Being on the road with a British rock band [Queen], and being in London a lot this year, rehearsing with them and doing TV gigs, I think that has affected my sound and where we are headed with it. [Europe] is very ahead of the curve, or right on, and I was definitely influenced by that. Vocally, it's very intimate compared to what I've done in the past. There is a little bit of a daring, deeper internal conflict and poetry about it.
