Ryan Adams posts alternate takes of 'Come Pick Me Up' and 'When the Rope Gets Tight'

To celebrate Record Store Day 2015, rock singer-songwriter Ryan Adams released a 7-inch single featuring two previously unheard songs from his extensive and always expanding catalogue.

The tracks are an alt version of the "Heartbreaker" classic "Come Pick Me Up" and (on the b-side) an unreleased song called "When the Rope Gets Tight" - which is an early version of what became "Don’t Fail Me Now", the closing track on 2005’s "Jacksonville City Nights" with The Cardinals.
