The supergroup featuring Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor and Nick Oliveri announces debut album

The supergroup Teenage Time Killers (featuring Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor, Nick Olivieri, Pat Smear, Jello Biafra, Lee Ving and other heavyweights of the punk and metal scenes) will release their debut album called "Greatest Hits Vol. 1"; it's due out on July 31 through Rise Records.

The album features 20 songs (tracklist at the end of the post): among them there are a bunch of covers - including the Rudimentary Peni song that gives the group its name. The tracks were recorded at Grohl’s 606 Studios in Northridge, California.

The band was kick-started by Corrosion of Conformity’s Reed Mullin along with guitarist Mick Murphy (The Birds of Satan, My Ruin) and producer John "Lou" Lousteau; then a crew of big names joined, to contribute to the project.
