John Lennon: boxed set of solo albums due out

Eight of John Lennon's solo albums will be collected in a vinyl boxed set due out on June 9. Individual albums of the ex-Beatles will follow, separately, on August 21.

These are the titles featured in the boxed set: 'John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band', 'Imagine', 'Some Time in New York City', 'Mind Games', 'Walls and Bridges', 'Rock 'n' Roll', 'Double Fantasy' and 'Milk And Honey'. Each album was entirely remastered in 2010 for a batch of cd reissues and now they'll be released on vinyl for the first time; moreover, many of the albums have long been out of print on vinyl (in any version) and the new releases will replicate their original artwork.
